After purchasing the Canon 5D Mk II, on the 31st December 2010. And after 8 years of faithful service traveling from Port Macquarie to Ulladulla along the coast. Young to Mudgee and places in-between. Three visits to the US visiting California, Washington State,Nevada,Arizonia,Colorado,and New Mexico. Two tours of New Zealand. A trip to the Philippines. Cook Islands.
The June long weekend saw the beginning of a new adventure with the purchase of the Canon 5D Mk IV. Slightly new learning curve in finding ones way around the menu options, New functions, and a few new dials to master.
I must say, so far I'm impressed with the quality of the images, and how the camera deals with different lighting conditions.
The Mk II will still have a place in the camera bag, just semi retired!
After purchasing Sunday, my first explore was Monday with a stroll around Camden finding locations with different lighting conditions.
Today, took a short drive to Oran Park. No longer a race track, but now a housing development! Not much cloud in the sky, but a good opportunity in giving the metering system a work out shooting towards the sun. Gaining detail in shadow areas, while not blowing out the highlights.
