Decided to spend a few days in Newcastle for the October long weekend. 5.30am start,so as to miss the traffic on Pendle Hill road, and a lot of frustration. Rolled into Newcastle around 8am, and time to look for a place serving breakfast.Looking for a sunrise shoot was looking bleak, as the rain had started as a light drizzle at home, and turned into heavy rain arriving at our destination. By afternoon, the rain had cleared. But Sunday and Monday mornings saw cloudless grey skies, with no chance of colour in the sky.
