Sydney Explore

A overnight stay in the city at Pier One Walsh Bay for a company Christmas Party, plus a chance at maybe capturing a awesome sunrise with blood red sky from the smoke in the air from the bushfires. But alas, my hopes were dashed yet once again! Sunrise was supposed to be 5.37am. But as I, and a few die hard photographers stood in position with cameras and tripods. No smoke, very little cloud, no sun! Around 6.05am, a small yellow ball appeared behind the sails of the Opera House. But the event was short lived!

Image 2. Had to work hard for this image. Lucky for dynamic range from camera, and a little tweaking in Lightroom.

Image 3. On my way back to the hotel.

Image 1. A classic image showcased by just about every photographer!
