October 2019 Long Weekend.

Decided to spend a few days in Newcastle for the October long weekend.     5.30am start,so as to miss the traffic on Pendle Hill road,  and a lot of frustration.  Rolled into Newcastle around 8am,  and time to look for a place serving breakfast.

Defenceless against Graffiti

A trip exploring in search of what seems the elusive defence bunkers that are now defenceless against the constant barrage of spray can attack.  A return visit with torch is needed to explore the side tunnels and rooms that fan out under the hill.
