Due to the current COVID-19 virus, and a recent family matter. Our planed holiday to Bali was deferred, then canceled. So to keep the holiday time period, within 24 hours, a trip to Cairns was organised.
After the Christmas festivities, it was time to head out of town for a few days of well deserved R & R. Gosford on the Central Coast was our destination! Traffic was light, as most people had already left before Christmas.
Another year, and another 4 week trip to America to visit family, and to explore. Landed in San Francisco, and then headed to Berkeley, my wife's hometown.
Four days of no sounds manmade,but the gentle rumble of waves rolling onto the shoreline. We had a beautiful stay in the Headkeeper's cottage at Sugarloaf Point Lighthouse.
Saturday 12 .05.2018. We set off for a overnight stay in the city, at the Meriton Apartments. Location is nice and close to Darling Harbour, and China Town
A 4am start to our drive to Port Macquarie. The reason for the early start, to avoid traffic on Pendle Hill road as people flee Sydney for the Easter long weekend.
On the 8th February we departed Kingsford Smith airport bound for Wellington New Zealand to begin our 10 day explore. The adventure was to find new locations for further exploration at a later date. Plus a revisit of Queenstown as a stop over before heading to Milford Sound.
Our road trip started near Camden heading towards Penrith,and then through the townships that make up the Blue Mountains heading towards Lithgow. From this point on,new adventures were awaiting us. Let the Australia Day long weekend start, with new digital memories.
